Hepar Hevert Lebertabletten
Naturopathic medicine for liver and gallbladder dysfunction
Naturopathic medicine for liver and gallbladder dysfunction
Pizza, fries etc. are usually fatty and rich, but taste so good that we eat too much. The liver and gallbladder then need to work overtime. Their functions are closely connected. The liver produces the most important fat solvent: bile. It also ensures that toxins are neutralized and excreted. If the liver is overloaded, such as by alcohol or medications, this leads to insufficient bile production. The result is that fat can no longer be properly digested, nutrients from food are not extracted fully, and metabolic waste products are no longer excreted. Patients experience cramping in the upper digestive tract with symptoms such as flatulence, pressure and pain in the upper abdomen, belching, bloating or constipation.
When deposits of fat build up in the liver, doctors call the resulting condition fatty liver. Fatty liver is the most common chronic liver disease in Germany. Approximately 20% of Germans are affected by it. There is a distinction between alcoholic fatty liver and non-alcoholic fatty liver. Non-alcoholic fatty liver is regarded as a lifestyle disease, as it is caused by an unhealthy diet (too much sugar and fat) and occurs mainly in developed countries. It is actually even more common than fatty liver caused by excessive alcohol consumption (alcoholic fatty liver). In other words, not all people with liver problems are alcoholics.
Hepar Hevert Lebertabletten are intended to promote a healthy liver by strengthening the digestive function of the hepatobiliary system and support the liver’s function of excretion and detoxification. Many conditions resulting from liver and gallbladder dysfunction are eased. Hepar Hevert Lebertabletten may also help in cases of acute liver and gallbladder diseases that are accompanied by diarrhea and cramping.
Hepar Hevert Lebertabletten contain medicinal plants and substances that are thought to work especially on diseases of the liver and gallbladder. Carduus marianus (milk thistle) may promote liver regeneration. Taraxacum (dandelion) and chelidonium (swallowwort) are used to increase bile production and have properties that relieve cramps. Leptandra (black root) has an anti-inflammatory effect, and Natrium sulfuricum (sodium sulfate) helps against diarrhea associated with liver and gallbladder diseases.
Hepar Hevert Lebertabletten are intended to strengthen the liver and promote the metabolic and detoxification function of the hepatobiliary system.
