Why does the body need iron?
Iron is involved in the production of hemoglobin in the blood and thereby supplies the organs with oxygen. Iron is also a component of important enzymes and is essential for cell formation, the immune system, energy generation, and mental capacity. Meat, fish and shellfish, as well as legumes, seeds, cereals, nuts and leafy greens are excellent sources of iron. Men need approximately 10 mg of iron per day, and women of childbearing age about 15 mg. Curry leaf extract
Curry leaf is not an ingredient of conventional curry powder, but the whole leaf is used as a condiment in many Indian dishes. Ayurvedic medicine prizes curry leaf for its valuable ingredients such as flavonoids, antioxidants and essential oils. Camu-camu extract
Citrus fruits are normally associated with a particularly high vitamin C content (approx. 50 mg vitamin C per 100 g). However, the South American camu-camu berry and acerola cherry have the highest vitamin C content of all. Camu-camu contains not only vitamin C (approx. 2000 mg per 100 g), but also valuable B vitamins, minerals, and secondary phytochemicals.

Acerola juice concentrate
The acerola cherry from North and South America distinguishes itself by its high vitamin C content (approximately 1,700 mg vitamin C per 100 g) and also contains valuable carotenoids, anthocyanins and flavonoids, which is why it is referred to as a superfood.
