The greatest wealth is health. For over 65 years now, Hevert has dedicated itself to the development and production of naturopathic preparations and is one of the leading German manufacturers of homeopathic and herbal medicines as well as micronutrient preparations.
With more than 100 preparations, the company has a broad product range that covers almost all treatment areas relevant to natural medicine. The focus is in the areas of mental health / sleep disorders, cough & cold and vitamin deficiency.
Founded in 1956 by Dorothea and Emil Hevert, Hevert-Arzneimittel is an independent family-run company. After being led by Dr. Wolfgang Hevert, the company is being run today by Marcus and Mathias Hevert, the third generation to do so.
The company’s headquarters are located not far from the Rhine-Main region and Mainz in the small town of Nussbaum, near Bad Sobernheim, nestled in an idyllic side valley of the Nahe River. The company added another location in 2017 with its office in Berlin.
But the quality of our remedies is not the only thing we feel responsible for. As a family company with close ties to nature, Hevert actively promotes naturopathy, environmental protection, sustainable business practices, and is treating its employees, partners and society very responsibly.
Selective purchasing of raw materials and contractually guaranteed cultivation of herbs, in conjunction with strict quality control of received product, assure a high degree of purity and active substance content in our herbal preparations. Numerous fresh plants come directly from the company’s own cultivation program at the company’s headquarters in Nussbaum. In order to preserve our knowledge of the processing of raw materials within the company, to a large extent Hevert itself processes fresh plants, drugs, and minerals into mother tinctures.
Many Hevert preparations are made in-house at headquarters in Nussbaum. The production equipment and the employees’ level of training are constantly maintained at a state-of-the-art level.
The family business operates its own development department, where along with development of new products, continuous optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes and formulations are top priorities.
For several years now, Hevert has been working on the expansion of existing foreign markets. At present, Hevert medicines are available in the following countries, among others: Mongolia, China, Luxembourg, Austria, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, USA, India and Colombia.
On international markets, Hevert also distributes its preparations under the brand name Hevert with the promise of “Made in Germany” quality. True to the company’s mission, “Hevert means health”, the goal is to make the natural, low side-effect Hevert preparations available to therapists, pharmacies, and patients worldwide.
